Langtang Helambu trek is one of the greatest Himalayan adventures which give you a cultural experience as it takes you through villages and settlements like Tarkegyang, Sherman Thang. The native residents of this area are Sherpa and Tamang and as most of the settlers are followers of Buddhism, you come across many of Buddhist monasteries in the Langtang area throughout the trek. This trek gives you the opportunity of exploring Langtang regions taking you through the off beat trail which offers mesmerizing views of tall Mountains, forests, pastures with green meadows, icefalls and glaciers, torrential river, friendly people, forest with rhododendron flowers keeps the travellers engaged.
Langtang valley lies to the Northeast of Kathmandu valley. The highest point of the will be at Tharepati (3650m) from where it offers pristine views of snowy peaks of Langtang Lirung (7246m), Rolwaling and Gauri Shankar, Langsisa, Dorje Lakpa.
Helambu is a highland villages which lies 72 km Northeast of Kathmandu valley. The starting point of Langtang Helambu Trek is from Sundarijal. During the trek you get to an unobstructed view of Mountain peaks, waterfalls, rivers.
After your arrival at Tribhuvan International airport, you will be welcomed by our representative and transferred to the hotel for check-in. Overnight stay at hotel.
Today after having our breakfast we take a scenic drive by Boudhanath stupa which is 15 kilometers from Kathmandu to Sundarijal and after we reach Sundarijal we officially start our Langtang Helambu trek as we head towards Chisapani .we head towards Chisapani on the trail which takes us through a lush green forest full of waterfall and rivers .further as we continue on the trails which gradually ascends to Mulkharka to Chisapani along the way we also cross the Sundarijal dam. Overnight in Chisapani.
Today after breakfast, we continue our trek to Langtang valley leaving behind Chisapani and head towards Pathi Bhanjyang and Gul Bhanjyang village. From here the path ascends and gradually descends through a rocky trail to Khutumsang. Overnight in Kutumsang.
Today we head towards Tharepati From Khutumsang .the trekking path we will be taking today will guide us through a lush green forest to Tharepati. After Tharepati the trail takes us to Yurin danda offering views of Langtang peaks along the way here the trail starts to descend gradually to Magen Goth taking us through a forest of pine, oaks as we climb up to a vantage point of Tharepati, from where we get mesmerizing views of Langtang, Gaurishankar, Langsisa, Dorje Lakpa. Overnight in Tharepati.
After having our breakfast we head towards Tarke Gyang on The trail that gradually descends to Melamchi Gaon. After crossing the Melamchi River over a bridge and the trail ascends till Tarke Gyang village of Helambu. Overnight in Tarke Gyang.
Today after having our breakfast we continue our trek to Sermathang leaving behind Tarke Gyang taking the trail that descends through pine forest and takes us past apple orchards at Sermathang. Overnight in Sermathang village.
Today we will be heading towards Melamchipul Bazar from Sermathang the trail moves to Melamchi through the route of Dubhachaur. As we arrive at Melamchipul Bazar we head towards the bus stop from where we drive back to Kathmandu. After reaching Kathmandu we check-in at our hotel. As for now, you will be having leisure time which you may spend as you wish .late in the evening we will be going out to have a typical Nepali dinner with live folk dance. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Today is the last day of your tour with us. After breakfast, our representative will be dropping you off at the airport 3 hours prior to your fight time schedule.
