Langtang valley is located north of Kathmandu Valley. This trek presents you the views of the green terrace farming, dense forests, icy masses, lakes, glaciers, and astounding tops, Tibet fringe along with great views of Manaslu Massif, Ganesh, and Langtang Himalayas situated near the Tibetan border of Kathmandu and Jugal Himal. The trek also takes you to the Kyanjin Gompa village at 3800m offering some amazing views of the Mt. Langtang, Lirung, Chengdu, and Mt. Dorje Lakpa. Indulge in the diverse Tamang culture while trekking through Tamang towns, experience their culture, traditions, and architecture.. The Tamangs are the ethnic people of this area of Tibetian origins who settled in the hilly region of Nepal several years ago who also widely known for horse dealing. They have held an unmistakable personality with Tibetan roots, just as their very own language.

Detail Itinerary

After your arrival at Tribhuvan International airport, you will be welcomed by our representative and transferred to the hotel for check-in. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Today after breakfast we start our Langtang Valley Trek as we take a scenic drive of 7-8 hours via a jeep through countryside road as we get to enjoy the views of mountains, foothills, and villages as we make our way through Dhunche from Kathmandu to Syabru Bensi .as we reach Syabru Bensi we check in the guesthouse. Overnight at Guesthouse.

Today we officially start our trek . after breakfast, we head towards Gatlang on the trail taking us through diverse traditional settlements as we reach Goljung a Tamang ethnic settlement on the hillside along with beautiful arrays of terrace farming where we will be attaining a cultural program. Later we will be visiting highlights of this area the Tamang monastery and Parvathi Kunda Lake. Overnight at Guesthouse.

Today we make our way towards Tatopani meaning “Hot Water”.tatopani is a natural hot spring where we can rest and let lose ourselves take a hot bath in the natural springs situated at the lap of the Himalayas, from where we can get glimpses of Langtang massifs and Ganesh Himal. We will also be visiting Thuman a village which is widely known for its astounding views of Langtang Himalayas as well as for their Shamanic performance and later we visit Nagthali a meditation center for monks and priests from where we can get a panoramic view of the Langtang massifs, Sanjen massifs, Ganesh and Kerung Himal. After having our breakfast we make our way to Thuman as we pass by Brimdang and Nagthali. As we resume our trek taking the trail taking us through the alpine jungles, Tamang villages from where the trail ascends to reach Nagthali. As we reach Nagthali which offers views of the amazing scenery of Langtang ranges including the Ganesh, Sanjen, and Kerung Himal.futher as we continue the trail descends to reach the Tamang settlement called Thuman where we’ll spend the night.

Today, we leave behind thuman as we head towards Briddhim, a Tibetan Buddhist settlement taking the trails which takes us through Lingling. Further, continuing on the trail we vist the Dukchu Gomba Monastery. Overnight at Guesthouse.

Today after having our breakfast, we head towards the lama hotel. as we take the trail descending to Ghopche Khola. From here we ascend towards Lama Hotel located on the banks of Langtang River from Rimche and surrounded by greenery, forests, and spectacular Himalaya views. Overnight at Guesthouse.

Today we take the trail taking us towards an old local village and the views of the Langtang Himalayas you can get astounding the Langtang Village. If we further hike on the trail its takes us past Ghoda Tabela meaning “horse stable”, beautiful valleys along with the opportunity of observing Yaks grazing on the pasture. As we reach the Langtang village we check in a guesthouse. Overnight at Guesthouse.

Today after breakfast we continue on the trail towards kyanjing RI in an elevation of 4773m taking us through us to Sindum and Yamphu as we cross the Laja Khola and then climbing the moraine making our way towards the viewpoint to see the breathtaking view of Kyanjin Gompa and icefall from Langtang Lirung. After spending some time there we head descend back to Kyanjin Gompa. Overnight at Guesthouse.

Today we spend the rest day our day exploring the Kyanjin Gompa. As we will be visiting visit the monastery and cheese production factory and followed by a short hike to the highest point of our trek presenting us a great panoramic view of the Langtang ranges up from moraine, along with the view of the mesmerizing ice fall and climb Chorkari RI 5050m. Overnight at Guesthouse.

Today after breakfast we take the trail ascending upwards as we make our way back to Lama Hotel.on our way the trial offers us an incredible perspective of transcending mountains that we had missed. Overnight at Guesthouse.

Today after breakfast we take a scenic drive back towards the Kathmandu valley via a jeep as we enjoy the lush green county side road along with some of the best hilly landscapes. Overnight Stay at Hotel in Kathmandu.as we reach Kathmandu valley we check in our hotel .later that in the evening we head out to have a farewell dinner.
