Mardi Himal Mountain is about 20 km north of Pokhara in Nepal. It lies in the southernmost summit of the Annapurna Mountains range in 1953 Englishman basil Good fellow had taken a photo of the mountain which marks its discovery day. It was firstly climbed in 1961, via the eastern wall. Which is one of the most used routes? But the Attempts to climb it via the south face have so far has not been successful. Machhapuchhare referred to as Mardi Himal ‘big brother’ is in line with the mountain from the south side and is most visible from the south. at the foot of Mardi Himal the valleys and mountain ridges Himal are steep and have a forest of bamboo and rhododendrons. The southwest wall has three clear rock ridges, separated by hanging glaciers. The east wall is separated from the Machhapuchhare ridge by a pass at 5200 meters.
