The Kathmandu valley “The city of festivals” and one of the most historical places of Nepal which is full of marvelous art and architecture representing the extraordinary and rich culture and tradition along with the brilliance of the artworks and the sculptured monuments situated in every nook and corner of the city. While some of them are also enlisted in World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. In this tour, you will be visiting many of the famous cultural and historically important places and sites many of which are enlisted in the world heritage sites from Boudhanath stupa, Swayambhunath stupa, Pashupatinath, and Kathmandu durbar square, giving you a brief Intel about the Nepalese history, culture, tradition, and lifestyle a full experience of true Kathmandu valley and Nepal history.
Today our representative along with tour guide will pick you up from your location from this point you officially start your tour of the valley starts as we head towards Pashupatinath temple, one of the important temples for Hindu followers which sits beside the holy Bagmati river. After you explore the Pashupatinath area you head towards Bhaktapur city. After reaching the Bhaktapur durbar square which is also known as the Town of the Devotees full of ancient medieval arts, architecture, culture, and lifestyle, you will first visit the Nyatapola temple and many other landmarks and monuments. After visiting the palace center, we get to the pottery section of the square where you will see the traditional way of making potteries. The city of Patan is also known as The City of Fine Arts as it has many ancient places, temples, and shrines, along with their exquisite cravings giving us and detailed insights about the history of Nepal and truly amazing art and architecture skills of Nepalese people. In Patan Durbar square we visit Krishna Mandir, Patan museum, and many other monuments, landmarks, shrines, etc.. Then we head towards the famous stupa Boudhanath stupa which is also known as “the monkey temple” and one of the biggest stupa. The area of Boudhanath has over 50 Tibetan Gompas or monasteries built by the ancient Tibetan merchants as well as recent Tibetan refugees from China. Hence, the Boudhanath area also offers you to explore Tibetan culture and tradition. After our sightseeing, we bid our farewells and we will see off you at the airport approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight.
