Tsum Valley with Manaslu Trek take you into an adventurous journey showcasing the beauty that lies around the region of the world eighth highest mountain ,Mt. Manaslu.this tour also takes you to the hidden gem in the region known as “Tsum” valley and a once in a lifetime opportunity of crossing. Larkya La Pass which is (5220m) which will be the highest point of the trek. From where if offers fascinating views of mountains like Cheo Himal, Kang Guru, Himlung Himal along with some rare views of Annapurna massif .
This tour also lets you walk along the Nepal-Tibet border enjoying the culturally divine highlands settlements , monasteries, forests which is also a home to many rare and endangered animals of that the region and also gives an opportunity of encountering Himalayan Thar , Blue Sheep. The tour trail takes you across Budhi Gandaki River, Machha Khola and Soti Khola along with mesmerizing views of Mt. Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Sringi Himal and Hiunchuli on our In Tsum valley the tour takes you to Visit Mu Gompa, Rachen Gompa and Nunnery temple to get insights about Tibetan Buddhist culture.
After, you arrive at the bustling capital city of Kathmandu. Where our representative will be waiting for your arrival. After you meet our representative he will be greeting you and transfer you to the hotel. As for today, there are no planned activities. You can enjoy your leisure time. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Today our representative along with the tour guide will pick you up from your location from this point you officially start your tour of the valley starts as we head towards Pashupatinath temple, one of the important temples for Hindu followers which sits beside the holy Bagmati river. After you explore the Pashupatinath area you head towards Bhaktapur city. After reaching the Bhaktapur durbar square which is also known as the Town of the Devotees full of ancient medieval arts, architecture, culture, and lifestyle, you will first visit the Nyatapola temple and many other landmarks and monuments. After visiting the palace center, we get to the pottery section of the square where you will see the traditional way of making potteries. The city of Patan is also known as The City of Fine Arts as it has many ancient places, temples, and shrines, along with their exquisite cravings giving us and detailed insights about the history of Nepal and truly amazing art and architecture skills of Nepalese people. In Patan Durbar square we visit Krishna Mandir, Patan museum, and many other monuments, landmarks, shrines, etc. Then we head towards the famous stupa Boudhanath stupa which is also known as “the monkey temple” and one of the biggest stupa. After a long day, we head back towards our hotel.
Today after having our breakfast, we take a scenic drive to Machha Khola. Overnight in Machha Khola.
Today we will be crossing the Machha River and Khrola besi. we will be taking the trails that guide us to Tatopani, a natural hot spring. where we can relax for a while. Further, as we follow The trail which takes us through a forest area till Dovan Khola. here we head towards the Budhi Gandaki Valley on The trail that runs along the riverside, offering us amazing sceneries .as the landscape drastically changes as the elevation increases until we reach Jagat. Overnight at Jagat.
Today we will be heading towards chisopani. The trail that we will be taking starts ascending taking us over a rocky ridge before reaching Salleri and then descends down till Sirdibas. The valley widens a bit as the trail continues up to Ghatta Khola. Further continuing on the trail that follows an upstream and climbs up to Philim before reaching chisopani Philim is a big village mainly inhabited by the Gurungs. Overnight in chisopani.
As we leave Chisopani on the trail that crosses the gorge, beautiful waterfall. The path ascends taking us through the pine, rhododendron tree forest. Then the trail starts descending down to Tsum Valley. During which we get to observe breathtaking panoramic views of the Mountains of that area. Further, as we continue on the trail passing by a small beautiful village called Lokpa, Lungwa Khola, and Gumlung and cross the Siyar Khola before finally arriving at Chumling. Chumling is located on the south face of the Shingri Himal from where we are offered a mesmerizing view of the Shringi Himal and also gives us an opportunity of visiting the old Chumling Gompa.
After breakfast, we start our hike towards Chokhangparo from Chumling on the trail that crosses a suspension bridge and offers us scenic views of the valley, Ganesh Himal, farming land of maize and potatoes, takes us past classic Tibetan houses and Up the valley to the east from where we get a mesmerizing view of the Ganesh Himal.further as we continue on the trail which takes us past a long suspension bridge on the opposite side of the riverbank, to the village of Ripchet (2468m, Rainjam and crosses the Serpu Khola.from here we start our we climb to upper Tsum and villages of Chokhangpar. After reaching Chokhangpar if the weather favors us we might get a breathtaking view of Himalchuli (7893m) and Ganesh Himal (7140m).
Today we head on the trail that ascends from Chokhangparo, taking us through small villages and past a local school. As we Gradually climbing over a ridge of chorten, we walk past Lama Gaon (3202m), cross rivers, the Rachen Gompa/ Nunnery Gompa (3240m), the Shiyar Khola, Phurbe (3251m), and Pangdun (3258m) before reaching the larger village of Chhule (3347m). Then we continue walking past, Phurbe and Pangdun. on our way, we will be visiting an old Stupa of Buddha as we cross the village of Chhule. From here the trail heads upstream crossing yet another bridge before reaching Nile. The Nile is the last village heading north in the upper Tsum valley and is situated on the banks of the Shiar Khola. Overnight at the Nile.
Today after having our breakfast, we head towards Mu Gompa from the Nile .today we will be getting close to the Tibetan border. We take the trail which runs along the west bank of the valley offering us Tibetan landscapes. Climb up to the Mu Gompa. This Mu Gompa is the largest monastery in the region which lies in the remote part of the Tsum Valley.
After having our breakfast we head towards Chumling. As we retrace our journey. Overnight in Chumling.
Today after having our breakfast we trek to Deng.
Today the trail is steep yet takes us on an adventurous trek with a spectacular view and crosses the river. Further, as we continue on the trail passes through some small settlements, and along the way, we encounter Mani stones (prayer stones) carved into wayside rocks. Finally, we reach Namrung. Overnight in Namrung.
After having our breakfast at Namrung .We continue our trek as we climb steadily through the alpine forest from where we are offered a stunning view of Manaslu North and Manaslu.overnight at Lho Gham.
Today we walk past a stone gate and the long Mani stone wall of the village. As we head towards Samagaon .the trail takes us offers us a full view of Peaks and takes us to a side excursion of visiting Pungen to get a close-up view of Manaslu. Then the trail follows a lateral moraine of Pungen towards Samagaon. Overnight at Samagon.
Today we acclimatize and relax for our excruciating multi-days trek. Today after having breakfast we head towards Manaslu Base Camp (approximately 6-7 hour round trip). Alternatively, there are half-day walks either to across the valley or to Birendra Tal. Overnight in Samgaon.
After having our breakfast, we continue our trek on the trail that crosses pasture areas and gradually starts ascending towards the valley . From where we are offered mesmerizing views of the mountain like Manaslu.as we continue on the trail we reach Samdo (3860m), a Tibetan refugee village.overnight in Samdo.
Today we continue our trek on the trail that crosses a couple of streams before reaching the Larkya Bazaar. From here the trail ascends until we reach Dharmashala. Overnight at lodge.
Today we will be climbing Cho Chanda .after we have our breakfast we head towards Bhimphedi on the trail which ascends to the pass. From where we are offered a great panoramic view of Himlung Himal (7126meter), Cheo Himal (6820meters), Gyagi Kung, Kang Kuru (6981meters), and the Annapurna II (7937meters). After we cross the pass the trail descends down through moraines till Bhimphedi.
Today’s trail genteelly climbs taking us through paddy fields and offers us beautiful sceneries as we head towards the small Karcha La pass. From here the trail descends taking us through fig trees and rhododendron forests before reaching Tilje.Overnight in Tije.
Today after having breakfast, we descend down to Dharapani as we enjoy the beautiful landscapes and leave behind our Manaslu region. After reaching Dharapani we take a scenic drive back to Kathmandu valley. After reaching the Kathmandu valley we check in at our hotel and later in the evening we will be going out to have a typical Nepali dinner with live folk as a farewell for you. On behalf of our team.
Today is the last day of your tour with us. After breakfast, our representative will be dropping you off at the airport 3 hours prior to your fight time schedule.
After breakfast, you have leisure time for gift shopping and airport transfer before 3 hours to the airport.
