Welcome to Holyland Adventure Tours and Travels, a trusted name in Himalayan tourism for over 25 years. As a family-operated trekking and tour company based in Kathmandu, we specialise in Nepal trekking packages, cultural tours, adventure travel, and wildlife safaris across Nepal, Tibet, and Bhutan.

Established in 1997 by Mr. Hari Bhakta Shrestha, Holyland was born from a deep passion for travel and community. Mr. Shrestha began his career as a nature guide in Chitwan National Park and progressed through the tourism industry before founding his own travel company in Kathmandu, Nepal. His goal? To offer travellers genuine, meaningful experiences while promoting sustainable tourism in Nepal.

With more than 25 years of experience, we’ve proudly guided thousands of travellers through the world’s most breathtaking landscapes from the iconic Everest Base Camp Trek and the remote beauty of the Upper Mustang Overland Tour, to serene cultural trips in Bhutan and Lhasa tours in Tibet.

A Family Committed to Tourism

As a second-generation travel company, the spirit of Holyland continues through the involvement of Hari Bhakta Shrestha’s sons.

Arith Shrestha, the eldest, holds a degree in Travel and Tourism Management from NATHM (Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management) and now oversees daily operations and business development. His blend of academic knowledge and real-world experience helps bring innovation and structure to the team.

Hridaya Shrestha, the younger son, is currently pursuing further studies in the United States. Passionate about expanding the brand, he serves as Holyland’s U.S. representative and marketing manager, assisting North American travellers with tour coordination and consultations from abroad
