Early in the morning meet our companies representative at your hotel or any other desired location along with your trekking guide. Brief meet up and handing over to trekking guide. Transfer via private vehicle to Bus station. Reach Bus station and drive from Kathmandu to Soti Khola takes about 7 to 8 hours. You’ll travel by public bus through beautiful landscapes, stopping for lunch on the way. Soti Khola is a small village beside the river, where you’ll spend your first night preparing for the trek ahead.

Today, the trek officially begins! You’ll cross the Soti Khola River and walk through farmland and forests alongside the Budhi Gandaki River. You’ll pass suspension bridges and small villages, enjoying views of the Shringi Himal mountain range. The trail is moderately steep in parts as you make your way to Khorla Bensi.

1. Trekking Permit Requirements

The Manaslu and Tsum Valley regions are restricted areas and require special permits:

2. Best Seasons to Trek

Ideal trekking periods are:

  • Spring (March–May): Rhododendron blooms, mild temperatures, clear skies.
  • Autumn (Mid-September–November): Crisp air, best mountain views, stable conditions.

Winter and monsoon treks are possible but less recommended due to weather challenges.
