You can type in the number of passengers to book a reservation and select a date that is convenient for you. Due to group size, we never cancel a trip once you’ve made a reservation.   • The tour starts in Lhasa (3,650m) and reaches elevations above 5,200m at mountain passes like Gyatso La and Gawula Pass.

4. Packing Essentials

  • Layered clothing (temperatures vary drastically between day and night)

  • Lhasa has good mobile and internet connectivity. However, many rural areas along the route have weak or no signal.

  • Power outlets may be limited in guesthouses or tents. Bring a power bank and extra batteries for your devices.

  • You may bring your own bike (recommended if you’re used to it) or rent one in Lhasa (mountain bikes with quality suspension and gears are available).
